Brrrrrr!!!!

It's cold here. Barely above freezing and it's only May...winter is months away. Our heating system doesn't seem to be keeping up but I just turned up the heat again so we'll see!

John's parents arrived yesterday!! It was so great to see them! We picked them up at the airport and brought them to the house - John and I had stayed at a hotel in the city Monday night because the traffic that early in the AM would have been brutal to get through.

After a tour of the house we went to our favourite restaurant down the street for lunch. Much chatting and two hours later we headed back home via another route so they could see our little "downtown" area.

Jake had a "Tennis Presentation" after school so we met Nicole there...she had forgotten to tell Lisette about it so poor Lisette was on the school bus home! Jake was an ace! He did great!

Another reunion awaited us at home - Lisette seems to have grown a little according to both Nana and Abuelo! Go Lisette!!

I made a pasta dinner as it was the 29th (Gnocchi Day!!) so we'd all have good luck. Hope it works!!
