Boy, did that feel great! We signed the contract for the "English House" today - and our wonderful landlord accepted all our requests.
We celebrated with dinner out and took the landlord with us! He is such a nice man it was a pleasure to spend time with him. Unfortunately but not unexpectedly, he speaks very little English so I had the opportunity to listen to John talk a lot. :-)
Our household goods are expected to arrive tomorrow then they'll spend a week or so in Customs before being delivered. We're hoping to be in the house by next weekend but we'll have to wait and see!
Other good news, our car might be here by mid-February. Again, it will spend a week or so in Customs but that's still better than last week's expected date of arrival (Feb. 28th)!!!

Come visit? Absolutely! It's hard to convince myself that we'll have any visitors down here at the end of the world so I'd be thrilled!!!
