John and I spent the morning looking at houses - frustrating but turned out to be the good part of the day.
Someone very near and dear to us has been diagnosed with a serious illness. Without their blessing I don't feel right mentioning who they are. I found out about it shortly after returning from house hunting and it was an ice cold slap in the face.
In honour of this person and the battle they are embarking upon, please hold your loved ones close tonight - either in person, via phone or email.
